Taverny is a commune. It is in Île-de-France in the Val-d'Oise department in north France. In 2019, 26,872 people lived there.
The commune is in the northwestern suburbs of Paris, 21.2 km (13.2 mi) from the center.
Its inhabitants are called the Tabernaciens.
