Usage
Template:ISO 639 name nl is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code nl, for example: {{Translated page |nl |name of page at Dutch Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Dutch Wikipedia and to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Dutch Wikipedia.
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|nl| some text in Dutch}} wraps the text with <span lang="nl"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Dutch-language text. Also available is {{Lang-nl |some text in Dutch}} which displays as Dutch: some text in Dutch.
- {{R from other language|nl|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Dutch-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|nl}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Dutch-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
