This template can be used to call the colour of Southern (Govia Thameslink Railway) routes.
In order to call the default route colour, the code #{{Southern colour}} is used.
Two background colour options are provided for use behind black text in infoboxes, etc. Both are compliant with MOS:CONTRAST requirements for colour difference and contrast ratio at both small and large font sizes. Use #{{Southern colour|route-bg}} for the route colour background and #{{Southern colour|background}} for the livery colour background.
