The (Latin) alphabet

[change source]

Simon, I know the EN: version reads "Latin alphabet", but I think here we need to make it simpler. What we don't want is a reader to click on X and think "I wanted the English letter, not that Latin one". Seems silly, but since we don't yet even have an alphabet article, the distinction isn't necessary at this point. I think clarity over technical accuracy is the better goal. I'm going to switch it back, for the time being. -- Netoholic @ 18:25, 17 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Could we say "English alphabet"? Otherwise people may think we Anglos are being bigheaded, thinking the only real letters of the alphabet are the ones we know. Saintswithin 22:55, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)
