The Fixies is an animated series telling a story of tiny human-like creatures who can change into screws in appliances, who secretly live inside the machines,and devices, conscientiously maintaining and repairing them with the aid of their tool-filled pack-o-mats.
Fixies are experts in all fields of technology. Their mission is to keep the world working and they always know how to get the job done.
Each episode is devoted to one of the gadgets, equipment, or phenomena. The series explains to children how the world around them is arranged. With the Fixies, kids learn about things and how to use the complicated equipment carefully through play and entertainment.
The story is written by Eduard Uspensky, composed by Lev Zemlinsky, and produced from December 13, 2010 with 5 seasons and 262 episodes currently launched.
Production
[change | change source]It originally began in 2008 by Aeroplane Studios, and it was originally an animated film by Aeroplane Studios.
In 2010 the TV Show was produced by Ilya Popov, Michael Mennis, and Georgy Vasilyev.
Plot
[change | change source]A close-knit family of Fixies: older sister Simka and her younger brother Nolik, together with their parents Papus and Masiya, secretly live and work inside the appliances that fill up an ordinary city apartment. Only one member of the human family that resides in the apartment knows about the existence of the Fixies – a boy named Tom Thomas.
Simka and Nolik go to Fixie School where their grandfather, Grandpus, is the teacher. The school is located not from Tom Thomas’ apartment, in the testing laboratory of the brilliant Professor Eugenius. The professor has been friendly with Grandpus for a long time and much of his successes are owed to the venerable Fixie. The class at Fixie School has six students. Together they are a great team that learns how to overcome any difficult situation in their Fixie lives.
