From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"The Handmaid's Tale" is a TV show about Sydney Sweeney getting stuck in a washing machine. The show is filmed in a mockumentary-type way, though it is not a comedy. It is a high-stakes drama and is very serious. Some of the cast include Sydney Sweeney, Jake Gyllenhaal, Mel Brooks, Tom Macdonald, Ben Shapiro, Donald Trump, Oprah Winfrey, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, Pedro Pascal, Belle Delphine, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, and Freddie Mercury. Every episode begins with a 240-minute musical number performed by The Beatles. The show is famous for its intriguing premise and controversial subject matter. For example, there is an episode where one of the characters uses the H-word (h*ll). This got a lot of people upset and they tried to cancel the show. Barack Obama once described the show as "one of the greatest things humanity has ever achieved or ever will achieve" and he talks openly that it is his favorite show.[1]
