The Loves of Carmen (1948 movie)
The Loves of Carmen is a 1948 American romantic adventure drama movie directed by Charles Vidor and is based on the 1845 novella Carmen by Prosper Mérimée. It stars Rita Hayworth, Glenn Ford, Ron Randell, Victor Jory, Luther Adler, Arnold Moss, Joseph Buloff and was distributed by Columbia Pictures. It was nominated for an Academy Award in 1949 and is the remake of the 1927 movie of the same name.
