The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants is an upcoming American animated adventure comedy movie. It is expected to be released on December 19, 2025.[1] It was directed by Derek Drymon and produced by Pam Brady and Lisa Stewart.[2] It is based on the SpongeBob SquarePants television show and is the fourth movie based on the show.

In the movie, SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Sandy, and Mr. Krabs go on an adventure throughout the ocean to find and faceoff against The Flying Dutchman.[3]
