The Stone Roses
The Stone Roses are an English rock band fronted by Ian Brown. It was started in Manchester in 1983.
History
[change | change source]In 1989 the band released their first album The Stone Roses. Seven singles were released from the album which went on to be voted the best British album of all time.[1]
In 1994 the band released their second album, Second Coming. In 1996 the band broke up. The band got back together in 2011. On May 21, 2012 the band announced a reunion tour and performed for the first time in 16 years.[2] In 2013 a documentary called The Stone Roses: Made of Stone was released.
The band split up for a second time in 2017.
