Timothy Francis "Tim" LaHaye (April 27, 1926 – July 25, 2016) was an American evangelical Baptist minister, author, and speaker. He was best known for co-authoring the Left Behind series with Jerry B. Jenkins. He wrote over 50 books, both fiction and non-fiction. Time magazine named LaHaye "one of the 25 most influental evangelicals in America."
His wife was Beverly LaHaye, founder of Concerned Women for America.
LaHaye died of a stroke on July 25, 2016 in San Diego, California, aged 90.
