Tom McCarthy (born July 5, 1968, in Jersey City, New Jersey[1] ) is an American sportscaster. He works with the Philadelphia Phillies. He also called games for the New York Mets. He is a fill-in voice for Fox Saturday Baseball. He was the voice of the AA baseball Trenton Thunder for six seasons.

Outside of baseball, McCarthy has called college football and basketball games for CBS College Sports, Sports USA, Westwood One, and the Atlantic-10 TV. He has been the voice of Rutgers Scarlet Knights football and for Princeton Tigers football and basketball. In addition to baseball and college sports, he called NFL games for Sports USA until 2012. He is one of Dial Global's voices for NFL coverage.
