An editor has asked for deletion of this article. The nominator's reason for doing this is: Originally nominated as 'A4-not notable', this is about a 24-year old, who committed the en:Alphen aan den Rijn shopping mall shooting, in 2011. After shooting a few people, the pepetrator committed suicide. Personally, I think that committing a crime does not confer notabilit. As always, if we had the article about the shooting (we currenlry don't) we might consider keeping this in some form. As it needs discussion, I am bringing it here. Comments? Tristan van der Vlis (1986-2011) was a Dutch Mass-Murderer.
Van der Vlis killed 7 people in shopping mall centre 'de ridderhof' in Alphen aan den rijn on 9 april 2011. After the shooting he committed suicide by shooting.
He had three legal fire arms during the shooting.
Born in 1986 in Alphen aan den rijn, Van der Vlis had early in his life psychiatric Problems, he had paranoïde Schizophrenia and depression. He was also hearing 'voices' in his head, and he was obsessed with the Colombine School shooting in 1999.
