University Institute of Technology, The University of Burdwan (abbr. UITBU) is a "NAAC A accredited"[4] Tier-II (under TEQIP)[5] University represents the Faculty of Engineering & Technology(FET), constituent to The University of Burdwan,[6] located in Burdwan, West Bengal. It is the only Government Engineering Public University[7] located in Purba Bardhaman district.
