Bad Girls Road Trip Love Games: Bad Girls Need Love Too |
Bad Girls Club (BGC) is an American reality television series. It was created by Mary-Ellis Bunim and Jonathan Murray for the Oxygen television channel. The show is about seven women who has a number of psychological and behavioral problems. They are put in a mansion to change their behavior and achieve specific goals. The cast, who are called "bad girls", will live in the mansion for three months, they must obey all rules—especially no physical violence between cast members—in a city in the United States. Their lives inside and outside of the house are recorded by the production team.
There have been eight complete seasons of the Bad Girls Club, with the ninth season currently airing. The Bad Girls Club is broadcast in five countries (the United States, the Netherlands, Australia, Hungary, and Sweden). The show has a bad reputation and many critics gave negative reviews about the show. Some cast members made comments that were controversial, which made many viewers angry. There have been three spin-offs of the Bad Girls Club.
About the show[change | change source]
Bad Girls Club follows the lives of seven women, who has psychological and behavioral problems.[1][2] They live in a mansion for three months, in a city in the United States. They try and change their behavior and achieve specific goals.[3][4][5] They are called "bad girls" and must obey all rules, especially no physical violence between them. Their lives inside and outside of the house are recorded by the production team.[6] The "bad girls" are between the age's of 21 and 27.[3]
If a "bad girl" breaks any rules of the show, they will be removed from the house. A "replacement bad girl" will enter the show. However, this is only done if the original "bad girl" was removed early in the show.[6] Some cast members leave for other reasons such as court proceedings, problems at home, believing that they are better than all the girls and do not need to be on the show or problems with their roommates in the house.[7][8] The cast are not allowed to watch television and use their cell phones. They are instead given a large television connected to the Internet and a house phone for home calls only.[6]
