Per a discussion between Clementina and myself (here), I would like to propose to the novels community that this page become a center for discussion about improving this project and the articles in our scope. If any of you are involved in wikiprojects on enwiki, perhaps you know how useful a centralized place for discussion can be. Also, talking about individual projects here, where many people would see them, can encourage more widespread involvement in the project itself.

In light of all that, I would also like to mention that The Lightning Thief, an article in this project's scope, was just nominated at PGA. I would encourage all of you to read through the article and improve/comment on improvements that can be made.

Please, if you have comments about improvements to the project or articles you are working on and with which you would like help, post them here. And make sure this page is added to your watchlist so that you can keep track of new discussions. Hopefully it will improve this project and Simple Wikipedia. I've added this page to my watchlist - I will be able to return part time in September and full time in November - right now, it is political season and the primary here is Sept 14 and then the election is in November. Campaigning is full time right now. Ottava Rima (talk) 20:41, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Wonderful idea, Princess. :) I will try to find time and see what I can do, although I will be rather busy this week, fixing Nataly8's articles, and all that. And The Lightning Thief is indeed a well written article: I'll leave a few comments hopefully before this week ends. Warmly, Belle tête-à-tête 00:10, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

List of literary terms

[change source]

I've been thinking that we might need an alphabetized list of literary terms for harder words such as allegory, conflict, denouement, prose, &c. For an example of a list of terms, the chess wikiproject has one (List of chess terms). What do you think? :) Cordially, —Clementina talk 04:57, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Awesome idea! Enwp has an index which we can use so that the list isn't based just off of our collective head knowledge. We could start it as a subpage/sandbox under the project and all work there. PrincessofLlyr talk 02:16, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I love your quick response and enthusiasm, Princess! :) Well, I think it would be okay to begin one in article space as long as it has some of the most important words mentioned (it doesn't have to begin perfect, after all), and we can add and expand it there. I'm  Doing... it right now, but I don't think I can finish it today, I'm rather busy. Deo volente, I'll be sure to get an incomplete but bearable list started in article space before this week is over though. Cordially, —Clementina talk 03:44, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

<-Okay, strike that; while "being busy", being also a very addicted Simple English Wikipedian, I began the list anyway: List of literary terms. I know, it's pitifully incomplete (I only got up to D), but it's...well, it's a start! ;) Let's all try our best to expand it: I'll be filling out D, E, F, G, and others as soon as I can, but this needs the efforts of as many people as possible. :) God bless, —Clementina talk 05:07, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Can you tell me how to join MY WikiProject with yours? It's WikiProjectWarriors. Loudclaw (talk) 23:31, 27 November 2010 (UTC) I made a Simple one.[reply]

Hi. Two of the Percy Jackson series articles have become Good Articles, and I would request the members of this WikiProject to try and improve/simplify the other ones to good article status. Pmlineditor (t · c · l) 13:26, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
