Welcome

[change source]

Hello! I noticed that you may have come here from another Wikipedia, so you know a little about how things work here. I hope you like it here and decide to stay! Here are some links to help you adjust:

There's a lot to do here. Most of it is writing articles that do not exist yet, which you can do by translating from other Wikipedias, but have a look around and see what you want to do. Thanks for joining us, and you know how to contact me if you need any help. BRP ever 07:38, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The above title/name is CORRECT. She was a Habsburg of Spain yes, but also an Archduchess of AUSTRIA. The later of which took precedence over Infanta of Spain. The enwiki is wrong. Look at the gravestone it clearly says of AUSTRIA (in French obviously) 146.90.226.251 (talk) 12:34, 26 January 2020 (UTC) I suggest a few of the children on here do some reasearch before they destroy things they know nothing about.[reply]

Please be kind and we need reliable sources to prove this. Revert warring will only cause you to be blocked.--Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 13:10, 26 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Yukesh Chaudhary (Rajbanshi) page.

He has played in Nepali movies as actor but left his acting. because it was not mentioned in coverage. there is no reliable sources online. but can be found in newsPapers from the specific dates when movie was released.

Nope, until he can meet WP:GNG / en:WP:BIO and the sources are independent reliable sources (WP:RS), we can't include it. And we cannot be having promotional articles which almost all 3 versions are. Thanks.--Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 08:18, 10 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello i finished translating the article. I tried to be without problems but it needs to be refined and simplified. The article contains interesting and very important material from Chinese history that contains very valuable material and I have translated from Chinese into English. The article is just a little long and time consuming. Please correct and improve the article in a manner that is consistent with the procedures. Thank you very much for your kindnessAlexisssa (talk) 19:50, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there. If you get the time, copyedit the article please; when you do, try to get a sentence structure which is closer to that of the English language. Thanks. --Eptalon (talk) 21:58, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Alexisssa: please read what Eptalon said before. I agree this is very valuable. I know it isn't easy to translate long articles. Will try to help but I am a little busy recently. Take it slow but I am seeing improvements. All the best.--Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 08:21, 10 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I have also added a list of issues to the talk page of the article...--Eptalon (talk) 08:25, 10 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, these are the areas where the article needs improvement on. Nice summary Eptalon --Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 08:48, 10 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Question about WP:1STRIKE

[change source]

So wait, if you are blocked on other projects, is that considered a warning here? I am confused. 🤔 Or is it so that they factor it in? See, I was blocked for being a sock of Andrew5 on the English Wikipedia, and for not being there to help Meta on, well, Meta. Also, please respond within 2 hours because I live in NY and that is only 30 minutes from my bedtime, no phones. Warmest regards, Gale5050 (talk) 23:29, 22 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

PS if I am blocked here am I eligible for a global lock? And how do they get reversed? Gale5050 (talk) 23:30, 22 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Gale5050: Please read the page WP:ONESTRIKE again, yes, blocks on the other projects will matter in how many warnings you will received. Please don't sock here. I cannot be responding so fast as I am in GMT+8. Please please don't get globally locked, but if you get blocked here will be hard to justify not to lock you. Per what Vermont says, please log off and stop contributing for a while, will be better for you. Reversal of global locks are possible, but very hard. Regards,--Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 09:03, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I live in GMT-4, so we are 12 hours tonight (should be 9:08 PM in ur location)so I will take some time off and seldomely edit across 2020. Also, how do you reverse global locks. Also what do you mean by sock? Gale5050 (talk) 13:09, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Gale5050: When they say sock or socking they are referring to sockpuppetry. Also the guidelines of the one strike rule are detailed at WP:1STRIKE --Examknowtalk 13:20, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Verify Sources

[change source]

Hi, I want to know that these below websites articles can be use as a reliable sources for Wikipedia article?

Syedfalak (talk) 13:35, 31 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Syedfalak: Are they independent of the subject? Do they cover the subject in depth? And please refer to this to determine.Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 15:30, 31 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Camouflaged Mirage: thanks for your response. Actually i have read this page but still I'm not sure that can i use these websites as a sources or not. As I've created article on my draft and requesting someone to move this draft to article space but no one replying me on Simple talk page. Can you please open my draft and check that the sources I've added on it are reliable or not? I don't have that much knowledge as you and others have.. Thanks!Syedfalak (talk) 20:46, 31 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Syedfalak: Firstly, the article seems promotional, words like " He has founded multiple successful businesses in the fields of marketing, software development, design, e-commerce, and more" is pure spam. We don't need this, we need the firms name itself. Delightful Islamabadians isn't one, as we discussed here. So whatsoever related to this can be removed. Hence, the entire biography section is useless. Then we are faced with what make the page notable? Seems nothing. So now it's not an issue of source, now is do this person notable or not at the first place. Please read this and this. At least the person must be mentioned somewhere in depth for a few times. I don't think the 3 are good places to be mentioned in. Regards,Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 15:59, 31 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Camouflaged Mirage:i understand that the words are promotional but we can remove or replace that words. And second you mention that "entire biography section is useless what make the page notable?" This is the exactly issue I'm facing and I don't understand what make a person notable even after alot of reads my sleep is spoiled I'm reading Wikipedia all the night to understand what is notability but still I'm confused. Even I saw many articles where they just added their official website as a references and their articles are still published no one deletes that article. Another question, you said "At least the person must be mentioned somewhere in depth for a few times" what is that mean? Thanks!Syedfalak (talk) 21:15, 31 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Syedfalak: Let us focus on your page and ignore the rest. what is notablity is simple, cover in independent, separate reliable sources in depth (a few paragraphs at least). Alternative, the person must have significant achievements. Please read the links given to you here and in elsewhere. Somewhere=a reliable press (e.g. The Times etc), in depth (an interview) and a few times means several of such in depth coverage.Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 17:05, 31 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Camouflaged Mirage:i would be very grateful if you focus on my page. I have press and articles about myself on other sites i don't know that can be use as a reliable sources or not can you please read and tell me are these articles can used as a reliable sources for Wikipedia? https://www.youthkiawaaz.com/syed-falak https://hamariweb.com/articles/128021 https://www.disruptmagazine.com/syed-falak https://link.medium.com/PPMzGp4O43 https://www.scoop.it/topic/entrepreneur-by-haroon-bashir https://menafn.com/1099815976/Success-Story-of-Syed-Falak-Youngest-Entrepreneur-from-Islamabad https://pk.avalanches.com/islamabad_leadership_tips_for_digital_entrepreneurs_syed_falak30136_16_02_2020 Syedfalak (talk) 22:38, 31 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Syedfalak:Your first source state "This is a self-published source", we cannot take the person own publishing as independent. Rest of the sources are the same issue, lack of independence and they aren't reliable anyway as they are blogs, small magazines, some random websites. And I read you are writing about yourself, as in the above you said so, I will suggest you read the full message on your talkpage. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 18:55, 31 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Camouflaged Mirage:i just read the message you left on my talk page and thanks for the information. And i didn't publish that articles which i shared links with you. As one of my dream is to have a Wikipedia page about me and I've 100k+ followers on my Facebook profile, they know about me and few months ago I asked to my followers that if someone can published article on Wikipedia then tell me so they said that first you need is articles on different publications so many of my followers published all the articles on different websites. I never published even 1 article about me. As you said these all articles are blogs, small magazines so is that possible to create Wikipedia page and add information according to that source (i don't need a paragraph about myself i just need a biography page and this is my dream) and once there are more reliable sources available then Wikipedia should allow people to add more information on my page time by time. This is what i want.Syedfalak (talk) 00:23, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Because of the COVID19 pandemic, there are a lot of countries’ international postal systems not reopened yet. We would like to send all the participants digital postcards and digital certifications for organizers to your email account in the upcoming weeks. For the paper ones, we will track the latest status of the international postal systems of all the countries and hope the postcards and certifications can be delivered to your mailboxes as soon as possible.

Take good care and wish you all the best.

Just wanted to say, that I'm really sorry If I end up busy during that time, my school is killing me with around 10+ subjects and lots of readings too, I don't think I'm doing well in school --Thegooduser Let's Talk! :) 🍁 02:26, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Thegooduser: It's okay :). Real life is more important always. I might be busy too, the reason for more organizers is that should we get busy, there will be someone to handle the judging and I think going by last year 10 pages, there shouldn't be any stress. Also very sorry if I do get busy in the period of time (which judging from my real life), it going to be (I didn't expect that as well when saying about that). Take care. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 08:06, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Camouflaged, sorry I saw your message late. I think we can use #wikipedia simple, as it is rarely used. There isn't much crowd there, and having a conversation there would make it a little more transparent, although not that much. I will create a file like last year to summarise the reasons for not being approved, or reasons why approved. And we can discuss the rest and sort it out. :) -BRP ever 01:59, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@BRPever: Yeah, also as I send it quite late per our timing. Sure, let's use wikipedia simple. Do inform me when will be a good time to discuss the judging, maybe when there are 10 pages to judge? I am thinking a weekly, 1h meeting (although I don't think we need so long) will be good. :) Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 08:24, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Anyday past 7 PM (GMP +10:30) is suitable for me. Are you free around that time? If not, we can arrange some other time.-BRP ever 09:51, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
8 - 9 PM UTC +8 will be fine for me, is it okay for you @BRPever:. Maybe on Sat / Sun (Weekly basis?). Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 10:59, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I think that will be alright. If you are free, we can discuss it over irc tomorrow at 8 - 9 PM UTC +8.-BRP ever 06:05, 31 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@BRPever: Sure. :) Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 10:46, 31 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Mistake

[change source]
  • When Judging your article on Fountain, I think I accidentality clicked "not accept" button on fountain, because of my comments, I think this was the wrong button to push, so you can re-submit again, once my concerns about the article are fixed. I only meant to comment, so you can fix it up and for it to be re-reviewed. Very sorry about this! --Thegooduser Let's Talk! :) 🍁 22:03, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Thegooduser No worries, actually no need to resubmit, when I make the needed changes you can use the same portal to click the accept. :) CM-Public (talk) 22:25, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Babel Userbox Help

[change source]

Okay, so I've asked literally everywhere, I need help with babel userbox, does en:Template:User zh-yue-3, say that you can speak cantonese, but not read it? I'm not sure if that userbox will read right to you, becasue you're a ZH and not a yue. I'm a yue, but unfortunately, I sadly cannot (I can barely) read Cantonese, but at least I can understand and speak it! --Thegooduser Let's Talk! :) 🍁 03:01, 16 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page stalker) @Thegooduser: Google translate is your friend! It tells me that that userbox says "This user can communicate in proficient Cantonese." --Auntof6 (talk) 05:11, 16 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Thegooduser I am zh, but yes, not yue, but I can read a little yue. What @Auntof6 said is correct, it means you can speak in proficient Cantonese only. As of reading, there isn't any indication. Regards, Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 08:00, 16 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I was a bit hesitant with Google Translate, but I guess I can use the userbox now --Thegooduser Let's Talk! :) 🍁 00:25, 17 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I added YUE userbox on meta, it doesn't specify that I can read read it, right? --Thegooduser Let's Talk! :) 🍁 03:20, 17 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Thegooduser Yes, doesn't specify. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 08:36, 17 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Fountain tool

[change source]

For the tool, why are there two "+1 accepted" for an article? Are all 3 of us supposed to click that for an article to officially be accepted? --Thegooduser Let's Talk! :) 🍁 01:33, 17 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Thegooduser Each of us can either accept an article or reject, if we accept, it will be +1, reject will be 0 (i.e. -1). The minimum for an article to pass is 1 point, so i.e. 2 of us accept, 1 of us reject , still accepted. (1+1-1=1). But just one of us accept and no reject --> pass. Hope this explains. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 08:39, 17 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ok! Sorry to bother, but If I want to do username change, should I wait till WAM is over, to avoid confusions, etc? --Thegooduser Let's Talk! :) 🍁 00:31, 19 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Thegooduser We will just have to change the username in the fountain (I will check how to do so) as well as our local/meta pages, shouldn't be a big deal. If it's urgent and privacy related, I will suggest you do it and the cleanup we can settle later. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 08:59, 19 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It's not really ugrent, per say, but many of my username choices are taken, It's just that people at school have seen my username before, and I don't want them to find me on wiki, for privacy reasons, but then again, renaming, puts an redirect on your old username to the new one... --Thegooduser Let's Talk! :) 🍁 00:58, 20 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Thegooduser For the redirect, you can ask it to be supressed , I think it's best to contact Wikipedia:Oversight or a steward, we have some admins who is also stewards who can help, like BRPever and etc, see the admin list. Regards, CM-Public (talk) 01:03, 20 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, seems so, I would G11 but since it's at RFD let's wait for RFD. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 14:20, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I missed the RfD thread. I thought they just reverted it. Thanks for pointing it out. --82.46.44.65 (talk) 14:22, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
No issues. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 14:26, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry to bother you again. Looks like the RfD was removed again: Varun Avasthi. I couldn't undo since they made subsequent edits. --82.46.44.65 (talk) 22:04, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Camouflaged Mirage, I've seen you ask for a quick deletion and deletion of two articles J-PIMP and D-Ploy Records

[change source]

D-Ploy Records founders are personal friends with Ashley Biden. Here's a picture of J-PIMP with Ashley Biden publish on facebook (note: "YOU SAID" likely to be not true and puff to avoid A4): https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=5359831277375611&set=a.589895961035857

How do I change the status of the 2024 Olympics article, I was going to accept, but I cannot find it on the 'Judge" page --Tsugaru Let's Talk! :) 🍁 01:00, 22 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@つがる Sigh, took me a while also, the tool is really hard to use this year. Go to Judge --> top left hand corner will have --> button, click, see the entire list, click on 2024, then change the not accept to accept. I will suggest not to click on not accept next round first, as you can just comment w/o accept/decline and the comment can still be saved.
Well on another note, didn't know my another article is 294/300. When I submitted it's showing 307, strange indeed with the tool this year. Anyway I think is the hanja not counted in the final count I guess. I had added 8 words anyway, so should be safe. Thanks for pointing it out. Anyway the guidelines is about 300, so 290-300 we typically say OK but yeah, better to be safe to demand 300 as I don't want the judging to be queried as all projects need to be fair.
Do let me know if you need any more help, early blessed Christmas. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 10:25, 22 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

About the revert

[change source]

Thank you for reverting my edit on Kepler-69c. I sometimes link articles to Wikidata but I'm still getting used to it - I know I need to do this more. Belwine💬📜 17:59, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Belwine Sorry for the revert in fact, as this infobox seems not linked to wikidata, but most do. I should had just copy - paste rather than reverting, apologies. Typically I will try linking to wikidata first, wait a while, nothing happens then I copy from en (but if that's too complex then removal is correct). Destroy my Data for WAM

[change source]
  • I did the Google Form yesterday, and I wish for all the data submitted to be destroyed, and I wish not to receive the postcard both digitally or Physically. I've been a rude user and I will not be editing Wikipedia anymore until I can be CIVIL and Friendly again. Please pass the message on to the WAM team that I wish to not receive the postcard. --Tsugaru Let's Talk! :) 🍁 23:02, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker) @つがる: That seems like an unneccesery response. We all make mistake once in a while on Wikipedia, and that is okay. It's a question on whether you can improve from your mistakes or not, which I fully believe you can. Kind regards, --IWI (talk) 23:05, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@つがる Hey, sorry if my tone there is a little harsh, I am just concerned given that user complains. I am wanting to tell you you are still a valued user of the community. We always want new users, so I tend to assume a little much faith, but mostly it's in vain as seen in this case. As of the WAM, I will see what I can do, I will try to help but even the team haven't get back to me from my emails, I have difficulty filling in the form. All been said, take care and rest well. CM-Public (talk) 23:09, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, I just reminded my self of Only's essay on 'retiring' on his userpage and it seems like I have overreacted, (yes it's embarrassing) but Sorry for the actions I took against the matter, it was poorly done and was a honest and unintentional mistake. I retract my statement above, but if you have already contacted the Postcard team, just let it be and don't bother them any more. Sorry Camouflage Mirage, The Electric Guitar, ImprovedWikiImprovment and Belwine. I will be more careful with my tone in the future. I admit to my mistake done--Tsugaru Let's Talk! :) 🍁 23:41, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Left with 5% on mobile, I am glad to see you reconsider @つがる. We all make errors time by time, we just learn from it. Welcome back, not worth leaving due to a sock of globally locked user, I shouldn't have given them too much good faith in retrospect, but this is always a struggle between warning and assume good faith, it's also a lesson for me. We are all on the same side, the side to want to improve the wiki. Take care :) CM-Public (talk) 23:53, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. What is the average time it takes for the postcard to come? I'm excited to get mine!! --Tsugaru Let's Talk! :) 🍁 21:04, 10 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@つがる No idea whatsoever, I heard some (due to postal) might not receive, but if I am not wrong should be latest by June/July. Btw I STILL HAVE problems with submission, let's hope I can submit mine by the dateline above.... Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 12:21, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Huh, strange. This is my first time to receive the postcard, so I don't know. --Tsugaru Let's Talk! :) 🍁 00:32, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Auntof6 Last year I organize but the team said that they don't have my organizing record (my name is on fountain), hence, they want me to send more details to them. Well I am a little busy so I skipped. I heard from some users they didn't receive too, due to postal system, some said it might be trapped at customs. @つがる cc. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 09:33, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I was an organizer/coordinator (I forget the exact term) for a couple of years, but not for the last two years. Each year that I coordinated, I filled out the requested form to get a postcard, but never got one. If they got held up in customs, it has been three years for the first one. Needless to say, I am not holding my breath! --Auntof6 (talk) 09:38, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Auntof6 Some of the people I know told me the same thing. I think I will be contended with a barnstar instead if this is the case :) Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 11:01, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Have you been able to work out the Google Form? --Tsugaru Let's Talk! :) 🍁 22:29, 24 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@つがる No. But I emailed them, no replies either, with what auntof6 said, my hopes aren't high. CM-Public (talk) 22:30, 24 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Then what's the point of them queing these mass messages? I don't expect anything for contributing to WAM, but if these messages will be sent out, I do expect a postcard though. --Tsugaru Let's Talk! :) 🍁 22:52, 24 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • What script do you use to rescue the dead links, and can you point me to it. Thanks --Tsugaru Let's Talk! :) 🍁 01:51, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@つがる I am not using any script, but this, go to the link and authorize all, select simple wiki, then authorize again on simple, and then go to the analyse a page, enter the page name and click archive all the non dead links. Seems complex at first but I can help step by step in detail if needed. I just rescue the dead links for my articles, in fact I am a little pre-emptive. The bot itself will rescue when it's dead so not to worry for the rest of the pages, it will be automatically done. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 12:47, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Camouflaged Mirage, I would like to invite you to WikiProject Vital Articles! There are over 100,000 articles on Simple English Wikipedia, but this project's goal is to work on 100 of the most important articles. We will choose one or two articles to improve at a time. @つがる Sorry for the very late reply. I don't really enable crosswiki pings (as they are used to harrass me via LTAs), and my cookie settings will not allow me to auto-login here, so is 2FA twice if I need to edit here and meta, quite a hassle. In addition, I am also busy IRL, but no, I don't receive any but it's okay for me. For physical postcards, I guess they will send but it took 1 year for some cases. Stay safe and hope you are well. Pulitzer Prizes

[change source]

Hi, CM. I'm closing some RFDs, and I noticed that you indicated that things like the en:Pulitzer Prize for Local Reporting aren't "the Pulitzer Prize". That isn't true. Like the Nobel Prize, the Academy Award, and others, the prize is awarded for different things, but they all are Pulitzer Prizes. Our article here just says that the Pulitzer is given in 21 categories; the enwiki article lists them individually. There's even one for music now, so they aren't even all for journalism. --Auntof6 (talk) 23:40, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Auntof6 Thanks for the note. I am just saying it can be more precise like the award category rather than a general page, I don't mean that (as corrected) the Prize for Local Reporting isn't the Prize itself. I guess we can also have the individual categories here if someone wants. Anyway thanks for bringing this to my awareness, appreciate it. Submission problem

[change source]

@つがる and Camouflaged Mirage: Currently, I can't submit Four Beauties to the fountain for this contest. The reason always appears as "only 202 words", while this is actually not so! Please check it! I want to submit this article! Haoreima (talk) 17:47, 30 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Haoreima: (talk page stalker) I don't know if this will work, but try to clear your browser cache, and try it again --Tsugaru let's talk! :) 20:42, 30 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@つがる and Camouflaged Mirage: A month back, I participated in the Wiki Loves Women contest here in this simple wikipedia. On the last day of the contest, there's a submission issue for the articles. So, organizers allowed participants to re-submit their articles (created on the time according to rules, but we're not able to submit in time due to error in fountain) later after the laid out time. Can I get such chance this time? I tried a lot to submit but in vain! Will I be allowed to re-submit it? And even if submission is blocked in fountain, will my article be counted? It's only one, Four Beauties! Haoreima (talk) 02:02, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Haoreima Just so I am understanding this correctly, you created the article, It meets the requirements for the byte and word minimum, but the fountain won't let you submit it? --Tsugaru let's talk! :) 03:16, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@つがる: Yes, exactly! Haoreima (talk) 04:08, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Haoreima The issue seems to be as the edit-thorn ended, it cannot be submitted anymore, let me raise the issue with Le Loi to see how to assist you. In the same time we can only be patient in doing it. CC @つがる and thanks for the talk page stalker replies. Appreciated. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 09:02, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Haoreima@つがる Please help track the request for submission here. Thanks. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 09:06, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yes Sir! I did as you said! In the last month's editathon WikiLoves Women Asia, when such similar circumstances happened, organizers first asked the participants to write the names of the articles they want to submit in a certain page at meta wiki. When the fountain issues were fixed (even after the contest timing was over), they were asked to submit their articles, again in the fountain directly. So, my humble request is that if the fountain further continue to have problems for accepting articles, please accept my article through a certain page (or as per your local wiki organizers' consent)! Tai Yang Gong

[change source]

Hello! I am interested in Chinese and Japanese mythology. I saw there's no separate article for Tai Yang Gong (Grandfather Sun), last time I checked out. Is he related to Tian, Shangti? Is he the same Jade Emperor? I saw in the article about Jade Emperor, his name was added as a synonym? Could you please clarify me my doubt if you know about this? I am just curious and I think you are Chinese as you put Zh-N at your userpage! Haoreima (talk) 12:04, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Haoreima Per a quick read, seems not related. Sorry I am not familiar with this but seems to be 2 separate issues. Tai Yang seems to be a broader term than the Jade which is a specific term. Hope this helps. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 12:08, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Question

[change source]

Hello Camouflaged Mirage, why did you add your own personal comment here? Isn't my warning enough? This user hasn't edited at all this year. Cheers, Hockeycatcat (talk) 10:17, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Hockeycatcat Hello, thanks for the question. I reverted one more addition, here which I think I need to warn them, but too many templates might not be good so I decided to leave a message to reinforce the idea that we do not tolerate spam. Yeah I agree it's quite stale but we tend to have a convention when we revert to leave the user a message about it. Hope this explains. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 12:17, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I see, maybe it was justified after all. Sorry if I came across as angry, I was just a little confused! Cheers, Hockeycatcat (talk) 12:40, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
