I've noticed that you have "closed" and voted on PGAs recently, as well as using enWP's criteria. Please note, that we have our own Criteria for good articles and also have a two week discussion period before any voting is done. Regards, Goblin15:41, 10 August 2009 (UTC) I ♥ Nifky![reply]

We Are One!Simple News is now One Year Old, and we would like to thank all of the Simple English Wikipedia contributors who have helped with it during this time. As we move into our second year please continue to send in your contributions, and let's try to develop Simple News further!
On that note, please do continue to submit articles, QandAs and the like. You may have noticed that recent Issues have been fairly bare - and the only way that will change will be with your help.
Thank you for the kind concern and notice which you have shown for me: it is very sincerely appreciated. I had a similar warning on the English Wikipedia, which gave me a good lesson by which I have abided from then on. :) Well, thank you again, and have a happy new year!

I supported your RfB. Unfortunately you committed one of the biggest no-nos in this project. (Which was voting twice in a RfA.) If you were not an admin or crat, it would be called sockpuppetry and in some cases, would have lead to a block. Like what many other users have mentioned before, you have let down the community. When I initally saw your self-request for deadminship, I decided to abstain (since there is no neutral votes). However after seeing many convincing comments and opinions, I had to do what was in my best judgement. Adminship is not everything Kennedy. Indeed, it is sad when we are one sysop less in this wiki. However we need a new breed (maybe "breed" is not the right choice of word) of admins to continue what other/former admins have done; that is to protect and keeping this wiki running. Anyways you are always welcome to re-run for adminship once the community regains their trust in you. —§stay (sic)! 22:44, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, I wasn't aware that there was a policy about creating articles for future years. Can you point it out to me before I delete the articles recently created? Thanks, --Isis♠(talk)02:43, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
According to deletion policy A1, any stub or very short articles that have little or no meaning and is not very useful or is not informative should be deleted. Additionally I remembered there was a discussion among editors to delete unnecessary stub articles on simple talk. —§stay (sic)! 02:46, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
One more thing I want to mention is that it possibly fails notability. Our scope is not to write about future years several decades into the future. There is not much notability about the 2050s for it to stay. —§stay (sic)! 02:52, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I believe this is a quick deletion request, not something that should be dealt with later. Look, obviously the articles fail at least one of the deletion policies. I suggest that an admin deletes it asap. —§stay (sic)! 03:06, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
(change conflict) I more or less agree with Slipknot and remember several discussions about things of this nature, so I've deleted them under criteria A1. As always, any admin is free to reverse my actions without consent. Lauryn☆03:09, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Isis, I don't go around demanding deletion to everything I see. I only ask for it if it is obvious, fails one of the deletion policies, is not notable, or if it falls out of scope for simplewp. For example, if an article that was not notable was requested for deletion, I would suggest "delete". However if someone managed to prove the article's notability, or provide a reasonable explanation as to why it shouldn't be deleted, I would reconsider my decision. Hope this clears matters. Hi there. I wanted to apologise for being snarky with you last week in regards to the quote on my user page. I meant nothing by it and hope that we can move forward from it. Cheers, Lauryn (u • t • c)16:00, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
