Hello, Tenth Plague, welcome to Wikipedia. I have extended Houten a little, based on the German and English articles (I don't speak Dutch); in the German wikipedia they mentioned that there is a railway line to Tiel (that article does not exist yet). Since my knowledge of dutch geography is very limited, I do not know if this city is worth adding at the moment. All the best though, and thanks for contributing. --Eptalon (talk) 10:54, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, Tiel isn't a really important city. It's mostly 'famous' for the mascot of the city (a strawberry man). Nonetheless, it's always fine to have somebody working on something like that. So thank you for creating the article about Tiel, even if it's not an important one. I'll try to improve the article about Tiel by the way, and I'm going to work on improving the articles about the larger cities in NL (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, etc.). By the way: I saw that your native language was German:Niederländisch soll nicht so schwer sein wenn Mann Deutsch spricht. ;-) I hope my sentence was correct German: it shouldn't be too hard to understand a bit of Dutch, as it's actually quite similar to German :P
Yes, It is in fact very similar; Reading the dutch language, the sense of what is said is often apparent (although the words used have often lost this particular meaning in German); and yes, your sentence was correct German. ;)--Eptalon (talk) 22:55, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
