Walter Brenner (July 21, 1923 – December 6, 2017) was an Austrian-born American professor of chemical engineering, inventor, and author of patents, technical papers, magazine articles, and books.

Brenner is thought as having pioneered the development of high energy ionizing radiation for polymers to be used for industrial, aerospace, medical, and consumer applications.[1][2][3]
