Yōko Kamikawa (上川 陽子, Kamikawa Yōko, 1 March 1953), is a Japanese politician and former think tank researcher. She was the Minister for Foreign Affairs from September 2023 until October 2024 in the Fumio Kishida cabinet.[1] She was the Minister of Justice from September 2020 to October 2021. She has been a member of the House of Representatives since December 2012.

In August 2024, Kamikawa said that she would be interested to run for the Liberal Democratic leadership election to replace Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.[2][3] A month later, she formally announced her candidacy.[4] She lost the election to former Defense Minister Shigeru Ishiba on 27 September 2024.[5]
