Zachary Ruben Benson (born May 12, 2005) is a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger. He currently plays for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Before playing in the NHL, Benson played parts of 3 seasons with the Winnipeg Ice of the Western Hockey League (WHL).

He was drafted 13th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.[1] On July 28, 2023, Benson signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Sabres.[2] On October 12, Benson made his NHL debut in a 5-1 loss against the New York Rangers.[3] On October 14, Benson recorded his first points in the NHL, assisting on goals by Jordan Greenway and Casey Mittelstadt in a 3-2 loss against the New York Islanders.[4] On November 22, Benson scored a between-the-legs goal for his first NHL goal in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Washington Capitals.[5]
