Alejandro Víctor Washington Atchugarry Bonomi (31 July 1952 – 19 February 2017) was an Uruguayan lawyer and politician.

He served as Minister of Economics and Finance during the 2002 Uruguay banking crisis.[2] It was a widely acknowledged role in the solution of Uruguay's worst economic moment in a century.[3]

Atchugarry died of an aneurysm in Montevideo on 19 February 2017, aged 64.[4]
