Merge Request
[change source]I would like to merge this article into the George Floyd protests article. Hollywood43ar (talk) 23:06, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose The article has a lot of information. I see no reason to merge it. --IWI (talk) 23:13, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
- Support The article is a train wreck, looks like it was written by a 5 year old and is totally out of date as obviously the place has been demolished. It is not of enough importance to warrant it's own article.82.12.134.74 (talk) 00:12, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
- When you say 'it is written by a 5 year old' you are not being WP:CIVIL, and you are also Attacking other other editors. Please refrain from making such comments moving on. Thanks --つがる Let's Talk! :) 🍁 01:13, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
Wow
[change source]This article looks like it was a 7th grader's essay that was given a D. I'd strongly recommend this article be rewritten by someone who knows how to write this in a much more streamlined manner, because as of now, the writing is absurdly clunky. There's a solid amount of unnecessary blanket statements ("Some people liked [Capitol Hill], some people didn't"), then there are statements that are just blatantly ignorant and give nowhere near enough information ("They wanted to destroy expensive buildings next to cheap ones"). Bottom line is: Reading this hurts, especially from the perspective of someone in support of Capitol Hill and anarchism in general. Rework it, PLEASE. Rivers.oak.06 (talk) 05:50, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
I'm much too tired to provide a few more examples of this absurd writing as of now, but if/when needed, I will. You get it. Rivers.oak.06 (talk) 05:54, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Rivers.oak.06: There are not a lot of editors here. You can rewrite it, if you want. Naddruf (talk) 22:22, 11 January 2021 (UTC)
yikes
[change source]As everyone else has said, this article looks like it was written by a 4th grader. "It was in Seattle, which is a large city in Washington. It was 6 city blocks in size. A city block is a group of buildings with a street next to it"!? Seriously? You define the words? Please, somebody who has time, please completely rewrite this article. Gøøse060 (talk) 14:12, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
- As Tsugaru has brought up above, saying "this article looks like it was written by a 4th grader" is not being WP:CIVIL, and is also attacking others. Please do not make these kinds of comments.
- Also, this is the Simple English Wikipedia. Sometimes a definition is needed for a word that is not Basic English. InfernoGaming46 (IG46) (talk / changes) 14:19, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
Merger Request with Capitol Hill Occupied Protest
[change source]There seems to me no reason for this article to exist when we already have the same article here. Either this one gets incinereted or we merge the two. كميراج (talk) 16:05, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
- That's on the English Wikipedia, and this is the Simple English Wikipedia. But we could rename this page to Capitol Hill Occupied Protest. Kk.urban (talk) 18:03, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
