Madeline "Mads" St. Clair Baker is an ocean expert.[1] As a tropical marine biologist she studies how micro-plastics affect sharks.[2] She is also a marine conservationist.[3] She created the eco-friendly swimsuit line, Blu Wild.[4] She is known for founding the non-profit organization, Women in Ocean Science.[5] Her mission is to empower young women and raise awareness of the ocean.[5] St. Clair is a marine photographer and often talks about her mission and work.[1]
St. Clair was a finalist for the Ocean Awards 2021 in the Young Initiative category. She is also a certified dive master. She won a number of photography awards including the British Photography award and the Gopro Padi award.
