Some cookies to welcome you!

Hello, I am Asteralee and welcome to Wikipedia, 1000mm! Thank you for your changes, especially what you did for Steam. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions check out Wikipedia:Questions, or send me a message on my talk page. I like to help new people, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like Wikipedia and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! ⯎ Asteralee ⯎ 23:43, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks @Asteralee.
As my user page says, nowiki is where I do the vast majority of my editing. Plus Wikidata, because the infoboxes on nowiki mainly rely on Wikidata database content, and if it can be fetched there, we prefer that. Local wiki code is used as an exemption in some cases.1000mm (talk) 23:57, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, maybe in the future you can become a sysop here too :) ⯎ Asteralee ⯎ 00:00, 23 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

For Deletion templates

[change source]

I have seen that you removed a Quick deletion notice on Than Singh Doli article. You are advised to not remove such notices from any article. Thanks TheSlumPanda (talk) 16:26, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Since the mentioned article has been deleted, it’s impossible for me to see the changes made to it, and explain myself. AFAIK, the only changes I have ever made here at simple-wiki, have been
  • creating my user page
  • reverting vandalism by IP users (same person, several IPs due to proxies) that does nothing but vandalism and harassment towards me and two other no-wiki sysops. User gets blocked at no-wiki, then heads over to simple-wiki. At one point the person also mades same vandalism at en-wiki, de-wiki, da-wiki and sv-wiki
  • reporting this vandalism on Wikipedia:Vandalism in progress (15. Oct. 2024 + a comment 23. Nov 2024) and Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard (18. Oct. 2024)
  • a couple of replies on user talk pages, related to the above mentioned vandalism
all of which can be verified at Special:Contributions/1000mm.
Without being able to see the history of the article, the only way I can think of how this could have happened is during reverting vandalism. As a sysop @ nowiki I am of course aware that QD notices, as well as other article notices, should not be removed just like that. 1000mm (talk) 18:13, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
In case it helps, I looked at the history of the page. Just FYI, your change undid an IP's change that added both a QD and an RFD template. -- Auntof6 (talk) 21:41, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks.
I’ll admit, since this is a known LTA with nothing but vandalism, I just looked at Special:Contributions/88.93.165.211 and reverted every change that still said "(current)" after the IP was blocked globally. Doing so before global block just leads to an edit war with the vandal, reverting back and forth, like it did two days ago: Special:Contributions/88.93.84.69 1000mm (talk) 22:00, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
