- I've been compiling the weekly summaries for Wikidata for the past 1.5 years. It is time to give this into the hands of a few capable community members now that I have moved on to product management. Starting next week I will not be compiling the weekly summaries anymore. I am happy to help anyone who wants to take over get up to speed of course. Please contact me if you'd like to take this over.

[change source]Hi ZW, the next time a new sock of his appears, can you inform me? Also please don't block him. Please help me to tell the other admins about this, as I want to approach him and give him a chance to start afresh if he wants to/has that intention. Thanks. (✉→Arctic Kangaroo←✎) 04:47, 28 September 2013 (UTC)
- I can't guarantee that I will not block, but I will try to hold back as far as possible. Please understand that if the editing gets too disruptive, I will have to block. In addition, even if he is blocked you can still contact him via his talk page. Chenzw Talk 07:18, 28 September 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks. If it's bad-hand, then just block on sight. If it's good-hand, then just leave it and I'll talk to him. I don't want you to block if it's good-hand, as I don't think he will ever log in to a blocked account, like any other sock. My policy on this is that socks will automatically be reverted, be it good-hand or bad-hand edits, but if the user has persisted in making a considerable amount of good contributions to Wikipedia over a few weeks/months (while having everything reverted) and shows commitment, then I will approach them to offer them a 2nd chance. However, if they continue to vandalise/make bad edits after they have accepted the offer, then they can plead 24/7 but no "3rd chance". (✉→Arctic Kangaroo←✎) 08:32, 29 September 2013 (UTC)

[change source]Is SEWthere starting to dy out? I don't see much editing anymore just rollbacking. --Riverruins (talk) 14:15, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
- Not really. Editors have probably been busy, and not everyone edits at the same time, so... Chenzw Talk 14:33, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
- Well y'know, to have rollbacking, there first has to be editing. ;) Plus, some of us have been working on things that don't show up here, such as adding Interwiki links in Wikidata. --Auntof6 (talk) 16:02, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
