QD reason for Di:bazooka max young
Could you please explain why you changed my QD reason? From WP:QD: "1.All of the text is nonsense. Nonsense includes content that does not make sense or is not meaningful. However, this does not include bad writing, bad words, vandalism, things that are fake or impossible, or parts which are not in English. You can use {{non}} tag for such articles. 2. It is a test page, such as "Can I really create a page here?". I think that fit pretty clearly under 1, not 2. It's not a problem, per se, but I'm curious why you thought it necessary. PrincessofLlyr talk 17:37, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
"Nonsense includes content that does not make sense or is not meaningful" - that does not mean that there has to be reasonable content. Also, I know about warning, but unlike EN, where I normally work, I have not learned all the templates here and have to search for them. Also, feel free to reply here. I automatically watch pages where I have posted. PrincessofLlyr talk 18:03, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
- You may ask an admin for further details about the QD. you may find the templates at WP:TM, and specifically for test edits or vandalism, check this section PolymathSJ Talk 18:09, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you for fully explaining your reasoning and also for the link to the templates. Cheers, PrincessofLlyr talk 18:12, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Templating
See this edit. You don't need the vandalism templates. Try using uw-spam, which is for bad advertisement links, or just manually writing down a notice instead of templating the anon. :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 02:20, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
- I don't really know why these templates aren't posted on WP:TM, but perhaps because either the page is not getting a lot of attention/updates or that it is simply clutter on a page that's already filled with user talk templates. I suspect the latter more strongly. Anyways, for future reference, if you plan to use one of the templates that are quite frequently used in enWiki, you should probably see Category:Vandalism and warning templates, a list of all the user warning (uw-) templates. I've noted a few of them already on Simple talk. However, it is best in those cases to not use a template at all. Instead, it is better to use standard, basic English to notify them of their mistake. :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 05:31, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

RfA
Are you really sure to run for adminship? If yes, please transculde your subpage on WP:RFA, but be aware, your chances to pass are very limited. -Barras (talk) 11:45, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
- Dear Hazard-SJ, I don't quite think that you are ready to be an administrator yet because of our Not now policy. Please don't take this wrongly. You do help Wikipedia, and we do appreciate you! You may become very highly regarded one day (not just as an administrator, which is only a few extra tools, not anything "better" than regular editors). I just feel that it might be more prudent to wait and be patient, and gain the trust and knowledge of the community first. I am just making a friendly suggestion that you may want to withdraw (I'm not saying you have to: I'm simply suggesting it with the very best intentions). It's up to you. Let me know if you have any questions about the RFA or the wiki though :) Very kindly, —Clementina talk 11:49, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

Eni
Hazard-SJ, I has just created the Eni page, and was working on cleaning it up. Yes, having a lot of redlinks is bad, but not all redlinks are bad. Of the redlinks that are left, most are links to articles that could or should be created. In other cases, I try to expalin what the missing information is, such as Golden shares.--The Three Headed Knight (talk) 00:57, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
Your new changes
Hello, Hazard-SJ, I just want to let you know that whenever you change a page, you ought to use the edit summary at the bottom of the page. This makes it easier for us to identify whatever task it is that you're doing. :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 06:41, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
- Please, Hazard-SJ, remember to use the edit summary whenever you decide to change a page. If you take a look at my last change, seen here, you'll note that my edit summary in the right-hand column of the page with the highlighted changes in green simply says "re Prot of Wiki." You must use the edit summary so that we can identify whatever the heck you're doing. To write an edit summary, follow the instructions on the Wikipedia page in the link, and add the edit summary at the bottom of the edit window, such as the one in the link. :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 19:47, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
- I already welcomed this user. There's no need for another welcome templates. (For the last time, please use the edit summary.) :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 02:02, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
- You guys probably edit conflicted, it doesn't always catch it. No need to be so high strung. Relax. -DJSasso (talk) 02:04, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
- Look, next time, when you do have an edit conflict of five minutes, you're supposed to replace my welcome template with yours. That didn't happen. But at least you used your edit summary this time. :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 02:38, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

I removed your warning because I just don't think it's appropriate or warranted to warn four months following the vandalism! Protector of Wiki (talk) 19:09, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

Hi! Your other request was just deleted a few days ago, and now this. I've snow closed the request and archived it. If such requests happen again, it can and will be seen as disruption. -Barras (talk) 08:07, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
- I requested the "other request" for deletion. Hazard-SJ Talk 08:12, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
- As an aside, WP:Blocks and bans was never fully-protected... you were just not autoconfirmed yet then. sonia♫♪ 08:16, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
Note
Generally, it is not a good idea to welcome a blocked user as you did in Sleepy Hypnotist's talk page. Pmlineditor ∞ 09:34, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
Red links
Hazard, I am very happy that you are such an enthusiastic editor, and you are working so hard to improve simple wikipedia. But you tagged Scuderia Toro Rosso with {{redlinks}} right under my {{Under construction}} tag only a couple of hours after my last edit. The Under construction is to let other editor know I am still working on the article. I copied the article from english wikipedia, and am working on cleaning it up. Sometimes it takes a while to completely copy edit an article. This article also happens to reference a number of F1 drivers and teams that do not yet have articles created. Hence, the redlinks.
Maybe a good example was the Mercedes GP article. The english version contained "The disaster at the 24 Hours of Le Mans on 11 June killed Mercedes driver Pierre Levegh ...". Because I am not planning to writing the Le Mans articles, I rewrote the line as "A terrible crash at the 1955 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 11 killed Mercedes driver Pierre Levegh ..." I am planning on (or hoping someone else will be) adding Pierre Levegh one day.
Also, I know other editors has brought this to you attention, but edit summaries are really important. If you are just forgetting to add them before saving, I would suggest you go into your settings, and under the Edit tab, check "Warn me when I leave an edit page with unsaved changes".--The Three Headed Knight (talk) 15:47, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
Welcome users
While it is nice to welcome users, like you did to User talk:Sonofgobot, we usually wait until they have made at least one edit. EhJJTALK 22:09, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

finding those orphaned pages? sonia♫♪ 08:11, 30 July 2010 (UTC)

stop
Just stop, you're flooding RC. Griffinofwales (talk) 22:27, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
- I hate to say "I told you so". To be honest, you're still very new at using Wikipedia and I wish you would focus on other things until you better understand how the software works, rather than trying to get a bot going. At the least, please listen when an experienced bot operator and crat is telling you something, because we usually know what we're talking about. If you still want to get a bot running, request the bot flag at WT:Bots and be patient through the process. Rushing will only get you denied. EhJJTALK 22:48, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
- Please wait until your bot is approved to add mass amounts of orphan tags to everything; you're flooding recent changes yet again. -- Lauryn (talk) 01:45, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
