Revedel action on your user talk

[change source]

An edit on your user talk page which claims to be giving you a barnstar has been deleted due to its inappropriate content. Please feel free to contact me/any other administrator privately for more information. Chenzw  Talk  15:33, 8 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

December 2015

[change source]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make helpful changes to the encyclopedia. However, please do not attack other editors, as you did on User talk:Chenzw. If you disagree with changes, please talk about the changes and not the editors who made them. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about changing Wikipedia. Thank you.

ChenzwBot

Do not worry about the warning above; it was a false positive and it seems that any new user posting the you-know-what word gets reverted like this. As for the vandal, he's globally locked. J991 19:48, 8 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I think you made a mistake, that IP was not blocked when you left the message there. Chenzw  Talk  13:19, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You did the same thing at User talk:65.189.18.40. Please do not add block templates to user's pages. Please let the admins handle that. Only (talk) 22:04, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not review unblock requests. Only the administrators can do that. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 21:02, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

RfD nomination of Jingle Bell Rock

[change source]

You nominated the article for deletion when it consisted entirely of "YEs" -- you should have checked the article history first. Had you done so, you would have found that it had been vandalized, and originally did have content. The article has been fixed, but we will have to wait for an admin to close the discussion. The edit you reverted is okay. There's dispute about her birth year. See the English Wikipedia article. Only (talk) 18:51, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Welcoming users

[change source]

I noticed that you left welcome messages on the talk pages of users who had not made any changes here. Please don't do that. We prefer to wait until a user has made enough changes that we can tell whether they're being constructive. That way we can be sure we're using an appropriate welcome message, or even not welcoming them at all if they're especially destructive. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 09:17, 13 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. You might not have done it on purpose, but your recent change removed helpful information from Wikipedia. We ask that you do not remove things from pages, as you did to "User talk:2.50.21.130", without giving a good reason in the change summary. If it was a mistake, do not worry. The part of the article you removed has been put back. If you want to try things out, please use the sandbox. If you would like to learn how to help Wikipedia, please see the welcome page. Thank you. Welcoming committee userbox

[change source]

Hi, I notice you attempted to add the welcoming committee userbox to you page but copied the wrong code. I hope you don't mind I added the current one to your userpage and please feel free to remove it if you don't want it there, thanks --Druddigon (talk | changes) 16:26, 13 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your signature

[change source]

I can't click your signature to bring it back to your userpage/talkpage. Can you please change your signature to something like [[User:Upaltez|Lovren]] this? Thanks //nepaxt 20:06, 13 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Before you make any more edits

Please read this. It is very important as you are currently blocked on the English Wikipedia Krett12 (talk) 05:09, 15 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[change source]
CheckUser evidence has decided that this user account has or may be used against our rules.
It has been blocked indefinitely to prevent abuse.

Administrators: CheckUsers have access to private system information other administrators can't see due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy, and so must be consulted before this block can be removed.  -- Bsadowski1 16:26, 17 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This blocked user asked to be unblocked, but one or more administrators said no to this unblock request. Other administrators can also review this block, but should not unblock the user without a good reason. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Upaltez (contribs · deleted contribs · block log · filter log · global contribs)

Request reason:

I appeal for unblock. I share an IP address with a large group ok. Am not commiting a sockpuppetry or any sockpuppetry!. Admin Bsadowski1 has a problem and tell him to style up. You blocked the wrong user

Decline reason:

While I am not a CheckUser, I do understand the process in it. First of all having Upaltez2, as an alt, and not declaring it for some special Alternate use account is inappropriate, and highly unlikely that someone else just had to have that same name in that "IP address you share with a large group". Secondly CheckUser Data has fields in it that identify very specific things about the computer and browser used. I seriously doubt that everyone shares the same computer, and a CheckUser has to verify multiple things before calling a Block a CheckUser Block, and placing it on an account. And having been an Administrator for a while, I have complete trust in the actions performed by this Admin & CheckUser. -- Enfcer (talk) 23:28, 17 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
