Edit summary
[change source]Hi there, Winterkind. I would like to kindly ask you if you could start using the edit summary to help us understand exactly what it is you are changing. If you have trouble doing this, there is an option under the settings that will allow the Simple English Wikipedia to prompt you when you are entering a blank edit summary. Thanks, Razorflame 17:14, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
Red Riding Hood
[change source]You're right! It's Dutch!

Moving pages
[change source]When you move a page here on the Simple English Wikipedia, please remember to give a reason as to why you are moving the page to a different location. It helps other editors to better understand why you are moving a certain page from one name to another. Thanks, Razorflame 22:34, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
Interwiki
[change source]I really don't see a reason to put an invisible comment marking where interwikis are as I am pretty sure that all of us know what interwiki links are. Thanks, Razorflame 15:52, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
Non existent category
[change source]Hi Winterkind, I noticed you changed a category at Napoleon (Animal Farm) from one that exists to Category:Characters in written fiction which doesn't. Are you going to create this category? The Rambling Man (talk) 16:39, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
Request
[change source]Could you kindly go through every page that User:Runningblader made and spiffy them up? I will help, but it is too big of a project to do alone...cheers, Razorflame 15:39, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
- Talking about me behind my back? =)

Animals
[change source]Are you interested in animalia too? I am, but I always have little time to write. Maybe you could help me by filling the red links up in Muroidea, if you want of course. I'm trying to have all important links in Mammalia covered. Prime Contributer (talk) 10:47, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
Pakistan animals
[change source]Yes; there was an IP "bot" that created hundreds of articles on "Pakistan" animals, inappropriately categorising them, and they were mostly biased and not neutral. Your help would be very much appreciated in helping to clear up the mess made. Cheers! Majorly talk 17:25, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you. I just kind of stumled onto a page with the Pakistan category, and then onto the IP who did this. And then I just had to categorize it better. Wikis are evil, especially for someone who just has to correct and sort everything he stumbles on. ;-) I will surely continue to clean that up whenever I have the time. Stop changing the primate category
[change source]Could you please stop changing the 'Primates' category to 'Hominids'? Chimps, orangutans and gorillas are apes, not hominids because they are not in the direct line of evolution as us. Australopithecus, Homo erectus and humans are hominids. Also, apes and hominids are all primates. - Æåm Fætsøn /ˈaɪæm ˈfætsən/ 01:34, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- Aern, this is untrue. According to this, Hominidae (hominids) are Orangutans, gorillas, and chimpanzees, and en:Hominidae redirects to en:Great Apes. Jonas D. Rand T 03:06, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry to offend you, but in my knownledge the current taxonomic order has been like that. With Pan, Gorilla, Pongo, Homo and other related ones like Australopithecus in the family Hominidae; and the hominids together with the family Hylobatidae (gibbons) in the superfamily Hominoidea. ~ Winterkind (talk) 05:41, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

Dear Winterkind
[change source]Thank you for helping me with Mansfield Park! I really appreciate it. ^^ Classical Esther (talk) 03:12, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you, although I do not remember what I did to warrant such. And the article seems to have been deleted in the meantime, erasing and thus obscuring the edit history. -Winterkind (talk) 23:29, 19 January 2010 (UTC)
Quick deletion of Clothing in Ancient Rome
[change source]The page you wrote, Clothing in Ancient Rome, has been selected for quick deletion. This is because the page was vandalism. If the page is already gone, but you think this was an error, you can ask for it to be undeleted. I-on/talk/book/sand 16:32, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
- Way back I simply threw together the seperate articles into one until they had more substance, as stated in the edit summary. I was not aware that was forbidden and counted as vandalism, so I'm sorry. -Winterkind (talk) 16:10, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
