Should the test templates be added to this? Oysterguitarist 02:52, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- Do you mean the uw-test templates from enWP or the test templates here? Lights (talk) § 02:56, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- Either, if we get the ones from en they would need to be simplified. Oysterguitarist 02:59, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
:::I'll import the uw-test templates from enWP now. Lights (talk) § 20:52, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- There's no need to. We already have the test templates. Razorflame 20:53, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- Deleted uw-test1. I'll just add the test templates here to the list. Lights (talk) § 20:55, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- I would agree with that. The test templates here are actually already boiled down versions of the test templates from the en wp. Razorflame 20:58, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

I saw Razorflame's notice and I think it would make an excellant user warning! Maybe something like {{uw-newarticle}} would be a good name. What do you think? Lights (talk) § 02:58, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
- I don't know. If you think it will make a good warning, then it probably will. Razorflame 17:09, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
- Did you want to move your subpage to Template:uw-newarticle or did you want another template to be created at Template:uw-newarticle? Lights (talk) § 20:48, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
I'll go ahead and move it. Razorflame 20:51, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
Hey all. I just wanted to let you guys know that I created a new warning for the project entitled uw-otherweb. It is used as a notice for people when they use External links instead of Other websites. Razorflame 15:57, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
Improved documentation subpages for user page warning articles
[change source]Hi. Before I realized this WikiProject existed, I created a standard guideline template called {{User talk page warnings}} to be transcluded on to template documentation subpages in order that editors are given more information about which warning template to use in a given situation. See, for instance, {{Uw-vandalism4im}} to see how the transclusion of {{User talk page warnings}} was done. I suggest that all user talk page warning templates that are created be added to this guideline template. Also, some existing templates that duplicate other templates need to be deleted or converted into redirects. (The Test series of templates is quite messy, for example.) — Cheers, Truth's Out There –talk– 08:39, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
Simple English template
[change source]I have created a personal user single-issue notice, that can be subst:'d, for use with editors who don't use simplified English (BE) whilst editing. Perhaps it may make sense for it, or something like it to become an official template. I made this for myself because I couldn't find an existing one and I have come across quite a few new editors that add complex language to articles and I felt it was easier to make a template rather than keep doing custom notices of a user's talk page. Any thoughts or comments from anyone? fr33kman t - c 00:35, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
- There's already one: {{uw-simple}} --Fairfield Deleted? 00:38, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
- Now why couldn't I find that? :) Cheers! fr33kman t - c 00:54, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
I've created account for the purpose of using it's talkpage to test warnings and/or scripts that warn users, like Twinkle and the VandalWarn gadget. Cheers,--Fairfield Deleted? 22:13, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
Warnings for adding jokes/spam to pages
[change source]Just to fill in the blanks in Twinkle; I've created the uw-jokeX and uw-spamX templates. Could members please review and edit if needed before we move them into T space? They are User:Fr33kman/Template/Uw-joke1; User:Fr33kman/Template/Uw-joke2; User:Fr33kman/Template/Uw-joke3; User:Fr33kman/Template/Uw-joke4; User:Fr33kman/Template/Uw-spam2; User:Fr33kman/Template/Uw-spam3; and User:Fr33kman/Template/Uw-spam4. fr33kman talk 16:38, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
- I do not think that users should be warned as a joke. That is unwiki (using a word I saw Jimbo use) and should not be on this Wikipedia. (I'm in a bad mood right now, so please don't get me angered). Cheers, Razorflame 16:47, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
- Razor, they are not joke-warnings (that would be very wrong and unwiki!), they are warnings for people who vandalise pages by putting jokes into them :) (ps: cheer up buddy!! [virtual hug sent]) fr33kman talk 19:38, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, never mind then. Didn't know that. Cheers, Razorflame 19:39, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

new warning
[change source]Could you please create a warning template that would warn users if they added unsourced statements. I use it sometimes at en.wp. here is a link to the warnings. I would like a warning based on uw-unsourced. Thank You. Griffinofwales (talk) 17:28, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
- Also one for MOS violations, and one for self tests (when somebody reverts their own vandalism edit). Located at same link above. Griffinofwales (talk) 21:48, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
Can we have a "Talk Page Access has been disabled" block template?
[change source]Hi, Can someone here create a new block template for when one's talk page access gets revoked? --IanDBeacon (talk) 20:56, 17 September 2018 (UTC)
