Keno Province

Keno Province (毛野国, Keno kuni), also known as Kenu, was a very old province of Japan before the Nara period.[1] Keno was in the area of Tochigi Prefecture[2] and Gunma Prefecture.[3]

Kōzuke Province and Shimotsuke Province were known as Keno before the reforms of the Taihō Code in the early 8th century.[1]
