Rikuchū Province

Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Lang/data/is latn data' not found. was an old province in the area of Iwate and Akita prefectures on the island of Honshū.[1] Along with Rikuzen Province and Mutsu Province, it was sometimes called Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Lang/data/is latn data' not found.. The history of the province started in 1868 and ended in 1872.
History
[change | change source]In the Meiji period, the provinces of Japan were converted into prefectures. Maps of Japan and Rikuchū Province were reformed in the 1870s.[2]
